Since the 4th fell on a weekday this year we got to celebrate twice! On July 4th we went to Sid and Vicki's for the day and then spent a little time at Corner Bar.
Then Friday we went to the Morris families ranch for a get together with some of our favorites! Ranchapalooza was the name decided on by the boys so I of course had to do matching shirts. Parker, Brooks and Laney got to come too and it was so nice getting to spend the weekend with those little loves! I've said it a million times and I'm sure I'll say it a million more but I just love the bond that, Nuggs/Bug/Buggie, Laney and I have. I got to see her everyday for the first year of her life and was devastated to move so far from her and Mel. I just knew she would shy away from me but I couldn't have been more wrong! She melts my heart each and every time I see her by running up to me, sitting in my lap and wanting to show me all kinda of stuff! Just hearing her sweet little voice say "Nonnie let's dance" or "Nonnie let's go outside" just makes my day! I hope the boys take after her and love me just as much!!!
Anyhow back to Ranchapalooza...Saturday the AC went out at the ranch house so we drove into Abilene and had a pool party and sleepover at my dads house while he was out of town. We swam, ate delicious food, and watched the UFC fights! I just love when we all get together!
Oddly enough we didn't get a single photo of the whole group! Sad! I promise the kids and other hubbies were there too! Goal for next year is group photo!
