Baccalaureate and Graduation...

I have spent the past two weekends driving back and forth from Abilene for all of the events leading up to Tates graduation. I cannot believe she has completed her senior year! Saturday my Mennie had a small lunch for Tate and a few of her friends and it was so nice to be included. It turned out perfectly!

Sunday before graduation the graduates and their families attend a service at Beltway Baptist Church in Abilene. This was the first time I got to see Kaitlyn in her cap and gown, emotional is an understatement! I remember making her and her friends shirts that always matched ours that we wore in high school, I'd put 2005 on ours and laugh when I got to theirs and put 2011, thinking that was so far off! Boy has it come quickly!

Sunday night we went to Tate's graduation party, it was hosted by several of the senior boys and girls out at Lytle Ranch in Abilene. They were lucky enough to even have Aaron Watson perform a concert for them.

This past Friday was graduation! The whole family came in town to celebrate with Tate on her special day! I don't have any pictures with Kaitlyn from the actual graduation except this one that I stole from her facebook because she was a little overwhelmed. I looked like I was attending a funeral Im well aware haha...

After graduation we all loaded our cars and caravaned back to College Station so we could attend my cousin Morgan's graduation from Bryan High on Saturday morning. I tried to stay out of most photos taken on Saturday because I left my makeup bag in Abilene and was left only with the eye make up I was wearing the night before and a little bit of Aunt Cat's that I threw on in the auditorium. I have looked lovely running around town au natural  the past several days, luckily the UPS guy just showed up and should have my makeup! My Uncle works for Budweiser here in town so we had a party in one of their meeting rooms and it turned out so great! We had bbq and all the fixings along with a beautiful cake made by one of my Aunt Sharon's friends.

Between graduation and the party we had to go to Funky Cheveux Hair salon and get feathers put in Landries hair! She LOVED them and look absolutely precious!

Saturday afternoon we went back to the hotel, sipped SkinnyGirl Margaritas and watched the kids swim. That night me, Mason, Don, Ben, his girlfriend Melissa and Landrie went to see KungFu Panda 2, it was so cute! Mason and I were the only two awake for the entire show though haha.

Sunday we met for lunch at Ninfa's and then said our goodbyes. Can't wait to all get together again sometime soon!
