Baccalaureate and Graduation...

I have spent the past two weekends driving back and forth from Abilene for all of the events leading up to Tates graduation. I cannot believe she has completed her senior year! Saturday my Mennie had a small lunch for Tate and a few of her friends and it was so nice to be included. It turned out perfectly!

Sunday before graduation the graduates and their families attend a service at Beltway Baptist Church in Abilene. This was the first time I got to see Kaitlyn in her cap and gown, emotional is an understatement! I remember making her and her friends shirts that always matched ours that we wore in high school, I'd put 2005 on ours and laugh when I got to theirs and put 2011, thinking that was so far off! Boy has it come quickly!

Sunday night we went to Tate's graduation party, it was hosted by several of the senior boys and girls out at Lytle Ranch in Abilene. They were lucky enough to even have Aaron Watson perform a concert for them.

This past Friday was graduation! The whole family came in town to celebrate with Tate on her special day! I don't have any pictures with Kaitlyn from the actual graduation except this one that I stole from her facebook because she was a little overwhelmed. I looked like I was attending a funeral Im well aware haha...

After graduation we all loaded our cars and caravaned back to College Station so we could attend my cousin Morgan's graduation from Bryan High on Saturday morning. I tried to stay out of most photos taken on Saturday because I left my makeup bag in Abilene and was left only with the eye make up I was wearing the night before and a little bit of Aunt Cat's that I threw on in the auditorium. I have looked lovely running around town au natural  the past several days, luckily the UPS guy just showed up and should have my makeup! My Uncle works for Budweiser here in town so we had a party in one of their meeting rooms and it turned out so great! We had bbq and all the fixings along with a beautiful cake made by one of my Aunt Sharon's friends.

Between graduation and the party we had to go to Funky Cheveux Hair salon and get feathers put in Landries hair! She LOVED them and look absolutely precious!

Saturday afternoon we went back to the hotel, sipped SkinnyGirl Margaritas and watched the kids swim. That night me, Mason, Don, Ben, his girlfriend Melissa and Landrie went to see KungFu Panda 2, it was so cute! Mason and I were the only two awake for the entire show though haha.

Sunday we met for lunch at Ninfa's and then said our goodbyes. Can't wait to all get together again sometime soon!

Lately...

Wednesday night my cousin Morgan and I went to Hurricane Harrys to see Eli Young Band. It was so much fun! We had dinner at Garpez and then went to the concert. I loved getting to spend time with her and meeting several of her friends! Here's a few pictures I took from my phone bc my camera battery wasn't charged... Yayyyy Nat! Ha

Friday night I went over to Mike and Rach's new house... WOW! It is amazing! Rach is so good at decorating and the house itself is stunning. It also has a pool so Saturday they hosted the first of hopefully many pool parties... this one was for Mike's Birthday/new house/stock the bar! Friday night we made jello shots, signs, and cupcakes! I sadly did not get any pictures on Saturday at the actual party but let me just say it was a BLAST! Erica and Daniel came in town for it and as always it was great spending time with them! Saturday Erica had plans to go see some of her girl friends and their kids here in CS and Jeff had to study so Daniel and I went for beer, crawfish and wings with Josh and Fitz. After that we picked up Erica and Hayes and were off to the party! Jeff got to come later in the night and we were all so happy he did! Poor guy spends his entire day and night all alone studying! June 1st cant come soon enough in our home! Maybe after his test is we can make it to San Antonio to see Erica, Daniel and the kids!

Sunday we went to lunch with E, Dan and the kids at The Chicken. Georgia was too cute at the table making sure to ask Uncle Toodge (Jeffrey) if he wanted to share her chicken or her cheerios. When I put my left over food on Jeff's plate she was quick to tell me not to do that and made sure Toodge knew that I put it over there ha. After lunch we spent the rest of the day catching up on some long overdue laundry and then went to see Bridesmaids. It was pretty funny I must say!

This week were taking it easy... with a little of this...

 and a little of this...

Beckham and Lexi have been supporting one of their favorite little league teams... The Rangers! Rockin their #7 shirts for their favorite Harvey Rangers player... my little cousin Mason! They just loved getting out of the house and going to the field. Beckham is great on a leash but Lexi refuses to walk more than a few steps before she decides to lay down... SOOOO as silly as it might seem a few years ago when she was a puppy I decided to get her a dog stroller... She loves it and proudly sits in it to watch Mason play ha.

Happy Tuesday Blog Buds!

I'm baaaaccckkk...

What a crazy busy few weeks it has been! I had an early morning flight out of Houston, Saturday before last, so we drove down there on Friday evening to stay with Logan and Brooke. We had dinner at BJ's and spent most of the night catching up with them. Saturday morning Jeff dropped me off at 4:30am so I could make my flight to Canada. I was scheduled to be in Regina Canada Saturday through Wednesday for an oil and gas show. It was very cold and windy but turned out to be a decent show. We met some really great people, ate a ton of food, watched some hockey and drank a lot of Pilsner.

Wednesday came and we were all very ready to leave. I caught an early morning flight to Vegas to meet B and Cortney and some girls for Cort's bachelorette party! I arrived in Vegas around 1pm ready to party tired as hell, we went for lunch and I found some energy and it was off to Margaritaville we went! The rest of the afternoon we played slots, showed the girls around a few of the hotels and waited for the other girls to arrive. Thursday was full of Cinco de Mayo fun, great food, drinks, and shopping! We spent the night dancing at Tao until wee hours of the morning! Friday Hugh Hefner and the 2010 Playmates were hosting a pool party to kick off The Palms Hotel Ditch Fridays summer pool parties... It was quite a time! We ended up in the cabana right with the girls, Hugh, his fiancĂ©e, and son.

By Friday night I was more than ready to be back in CS... I had been away for more time than usual! We took a cab to In-n-out burger and got our stuff all packed up and ready to go. While in the casino at our hotel we ran into some friends of mine from Abilene, Peyton and Brandon. It was so good getting to see them even for just a few minutes! Saturday morning we flew back to Houston, Jeff took time away from his studying and came to the airport to get me!!! He also took me to lunch at Papadeux and spent the afternoon listening to all my stories! Fun fun times in Canada and Vegas but sooo glad to be home with Jeff and the circus!
